You need
- Sofa cushions or pillows
- 3 to 5 stuffed animals

The steps

Scatter cushions across the carpet. These are the safe islands.

Sit the stuffed animals on a blanket at the far side: they are stranded and need rescue!

Kids hop island to island without touching the “lava” floor.

Rescue one animal per trip. Beat the 5-minute timer to win!
Keep an eye on
Keep the islands on carpet or a rug, close together, and away from table edges and corners.
To keep it going
Make it harder for older kids: they can only hop on one foot.
