Terms

Last updated: 13 October 2026. These terms are for version 2.0 of the BusyBees app.

These are the terms for using BusyBees. We have kept them short and in plain English. The most important one is section 3: a grown-up is responsible for safety and supervises all play.

1. Who we are

BusyBees is provided by Boroto Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15171190. Our registered office is 10 Church Square, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 1AE, United Kingdom. You can reach us at contact@yektad.com.

These terms are an agreement between you and us. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Who BusyBees is for

BusyBees is for parents, carers and other grown-ups who look after children. It gives play ideas for children aged 1 to 8 and over. It is not made for children to use by themselves.

3. A grown-up is responsible for safety

An adult is responsible for children's safety and supervises all play. That adult is you, or a grown-up you trust to be there in your place.

BusyBees gives ideas. It cannot see your child, your home or what is happening in the room. Before you start a game, decide whether it suits your child. Think about their age, what they can do, any allergies, and anything nearby that could hurt them.

Each game comes with a note on what to keep an eye on. The note is there to help. It is not a list of every possible risk.

The first time you open a game, the app asks you to confirm that you understand this. We keep a record of when you agreed.

4. Ideas written by AI

The ready-made games were written and drawn before you opened the app. Fresh ideas and photo ideas are written by AI (Anthropic's Claude), and their pictures are drawn by AI (Google's Gemini). AI is only used after you tick the permission box in the app, and you can switch it off again in Family at any time. Our privacy policy says what is sent and to whom.

The app checks every idea against its child-safety rules before you see it. Even so, content written by AI may be imperfect. An idea may be unclear, may not suit your child, or may simply be wrong. Read each idea before you begin and use your own judgement.

If an idea looks wrong or unsafe, tap "Report this idea" on the game. The report comes to us and we use it to check and improve the ideas.

BusyBees offers play ideas. It does not give medical, educational or childcare advice.

5. Your account and your family

You do not need to create an account to start. The app makes a temporary one so that your choices and games can be saved. You can sign in with Apple or Google so your games come with you to a new phone.

One plan covers two adults in the same family. To invite your partner you sign in first. An invitation works once and expires after 48 hours. You are responsible for who you invite and for the details you add to the app.

Either of you can end the sharing in Family, with "Stop sharing". You both keep the children's details, and the plan stays with the parent who pays for it.

6. Plans, the free trial and payment

BusyBees is free to download. To open games you need a plan. There are two:

Both start with 3 days free. These prices are for the United Kingdom. In other countries the App Store shows the price in your own currency before you buy.

Payment is taken by Apple through your Apple Account. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the 3 free days end, your plan starts and Apple takes the first payment. After that the plan renews by itself, every year or every month, until you cancel.

If you took out a weekly plan in an earlier version of BusyBees, you keep that plan, at the price you agreed, until you cancel it. It gives you what a plan includes today. New customers can choose yearly or monthly only.

If we change the price of a plan you already have, you will be told before the new price applies, and you can cancel before it does.

7. Fresh ideas and top-ups

A fresh idea is a new game made for your family by AI, including one made from a photo. A plan includes 40 a month, shared by both parents. A smaller number is included during the 3 free days.

The count starts again each month. Fresh ideas you did not use are not carried over. When you have used the month's fresh ideas, the ready-made games stay open.

Where the app offers a top-up of extra fresh ideas, the price is shown before you buy. A top-up is a single purchase through Apple, not a subscription. Fresh ideas you have bought do not run out at the end of the month. They are used once the month's included ones are gone.

To keep BusyBees fair for everyone and to stop misuse, the app also limits how many requests one family can make in a day.

8. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time in your iPhone's Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then BusyBees. Your plan then runs to the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew.

Deleting the app, or deleting your BusyBees account, does not cancel a plan.

Apple takes the payments, so Apple handles refunds, under its own rules. You can ask at reportaproblem.apple.com. Nothing in these terms takes away the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

9. Using BusyBees fairly

BusyBees is for your own family, at home. Please do not:

If someone misuses the service, we may limit or stop their use of it.

10. What belongs to us

The app, the BusyBees name, the bee, the games, the drawings and the software belong to Boroto Ltd or to those who license them to us. You may use them in the app for your own family. Nothing in these terms gives you any other right to them.

11. Changes to the app and to these terms

We work to keep BusyBees running well, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or free of mistakes. We may add, change or remove features.

We may also update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or on this page before it applies. If you carry on using BusyBees after that, you accept the new terms.

12. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to keep to these terms, or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result.

We do not exclude or limit our responsibility where the law does not allow it. That includes death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and fraud.

We are not responsible for loss or harm caused by a game being played without a grown-up supervising, or by the notes in a game being ignored. BusyBees is for home use, so we are not responsible for business losses.

13. Apple

You download BusyBees from Apple's App Store, and Apple's own terms apply to that. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app, its content, or support for it.

14. The law that applies

These terms are governed by UK law, namely the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in the courts there.

If you live outside the United Kingdom, the consumer protection laws of your country that cannot be set aside by agreement still protect you.
