Something not working, or not sure where a setting is? The most common answers are below. If yours is not here, write to us.
-
Contact us
Email contact@yektad.com. Tell us what happened and which iPhone you have. A screenshot helps if you have one.
-
Cancel your plan
Plans are paid through Apple, so you cancel on your iPhone, not in the app.
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions, then BusyBees.
- Tap Cancel Subscription, or Cancel Free Trial.
Your plan runs to the end of the time you have paid for. To pay nothing, cancel at least a day before the 3 free days end. Deleting the app does not cancel a plan.
-
Restore a purchase
New phone, or put the app back on? Open BusyBees, go to Family and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account you paid with.
If your partner paid for the plan, there is nothing to restore. Ask them to invite you, then go to Family and tap Join with a code.
-
Share with your partner
Go to Family and tap the plus button next to your name. If you have not signed in yet, the app asks you to sign in with Apple or Google first. Then send the invite code. It works once and expires after 48 hours.
Your partner opens BusyBees, signs in as well, goes to Family, taps Join with a code and types it in. After that you both see the same children and kept games. Each phone keeps its own hive.
-
Stop sharing with your partner
Go to Family and tap Stop sharing, under your two names. The app asks you to confirm. Either parent can do this.
You both keep the children. The kept games stay with the parent who sent the invitation, and the plan stays with the parent who pays for it.
-
Switch AI off, or back on
Go to Family and turn off Use AI to make ideas. It takes effect at once: fresh ideas and photo ideas stop, nothing more is sent, and the ready-made games carry on.
To use AI again, turn the switch back on. The app shows the permission question again and waits for you to tick the box.
-
Move to a new phone
On your old phone, go to Family and tap Keep it safe: sign in. Then open BusyBees on the new phone, tap I already have an account and sign in the same way. Your plan, your children and your kept games come with you.
The hive is kept on each phone, so it starts again on the new one.
-
Make the text larger
BusyBees follows the text size of your iPhone. Open Settings on your iPhone, then Display and Brightness, then Text Size, and move the slider. For even larger text, go to Settings, Accessibility, Display and Text Size, Larger Text.
-
Turn the sounds off
Go to Family and turn off Sounds. The sounds are also silent whenever your iPhone is on silent, and they do not stop music you are playing.
-
I am on the weekly plan from before
Nothing changes. You keep your plan and your price until you cancel. New customers can choose yearly or monthly.
-
Fresh ideas have run out
A plan includes 40 fresh ideas a month. When they are used, the ready-made games stay open, and the count starts again the next month. If the app shows Get 20 more under Plan in Family, you can buy more there. The price is shown before you buy.
-
An idea looks wrong
Open the game and tap Report this idea at the bottom. Choose a reason and it comes to us. No account details are sent with it.
-
Ask for a refund
Apple takes the payments, so refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
-
Delete your account
You can delete everything yourself, in the app.
- Open BusyBees and go to Family.
- Tap Delete account.
- Tick "I understand this cannot be undone".
- Tap Delete everything.
This deletes, for good: your children's ages and any names, your kept games, the hive with every game played and its sticker, and your account.
Deleting your account does not cancel a plan. Cancel that first, in your iPhone's Settings.
If you cannot open the app, write to contact@yektad.com and we will help.
